• Computers and monitors
• Printers and scanners
• Phones, tablets, and other electronics
  (These often need to be taken to an electronics recycling center)

• Refrigerators and freezers
• Air conditioners
• Dehumidifiers
  (Must be drained and certified free of refrigerants before disposal)

Car, truck, or tractor tires
(Most landfills do not accept them in dumpsters; separate recycling is required) Charge is $15 for small tires and $50 for large 

• Car batteries (lead-acid)
• Lithium-ion batteries (used in electronics)
• Household batteries (AA, AAA, etc.)

• Needles and sharps
• Prescription medications
• Biohazard materials

• Buckets or barrels with liquids
• Paint cans with wet paint
• Oil drums

• Asbestos siding, insulation, or tiles
• Moldy materials
  (Requires special handling by licensed contractors)

• Tree stumps
• Large root balls
  (Some areas require separate composting or green waste bins)

• Dirt or soil (unless specifically allowed)
